  • IPMS/USA is proud to partner again in 2026 with the family of the late Ralph Forehand to offer a scholarship program to IPMS/USA members, their children and grandchildren. For those who didn't know Ralph there are some details of his longstanding service to IPMS/USA and his life in the image below, as well as information about how to apply for the scholarship. This year there will be up to two $500 scholarships available, thanks to the generosity of the Forehand family.

  • Each year since 2023 IPMS/USA has surveyed the attendees at our National Convention to understand more about why members attend, what they like and don’t like, and how we can improve the convention experience. Here is the survey summary of the 2025 Hampton Virginia convention, put together by our new Data Manager, Nate Pollock. Nate was able to take data from each of the last three conventions to compare how members feel about their convention experience.

  • I just wanted to post a brief update on the fact that IPMS/USA continues to provide two initiatives aimed at active, retired and disabled service members. These are as follows:

Disabled veterans – IPMS/USA will provide a free year’s membership to any disabled veteran of a US military branch in appreciation for their sacrifices in support of our country.

HobbyBoss issued a new and more modern F-111 kit a while back (2010 I think) replacing the aging Academy kits. It had a lot of features and for styrene, a decent but simplified cockpit. It was...

Yep. as a Medusa collector a friend got me this lil one. I'm guess it's it's based on a 75mm size. Nothing special about the build. I "had to" change the base, and it... more »

So I am calling this one done, aside from the crew figures. The kit itself was built OOB, although I did add a Combat Series brass machine gun pintle mount and took an Academy M1919 Browning .30 cal... more »
